Street cleaning and the sweeper

The Town Council runs the street sweeper through the estate's streets periodically. On sweeping days it's worth moving cars off the roadway: a parked vehicle forces the machine to manoeuvre, multiplies the time it takes and leaves its stretch uncleaned.

Notices of the sweeper's passage will be published on the owners' area noticeboard, street by street, as soon as the board is up and running.
