Waste, recycling and pruning leftovers

Rubbish always goes inside the bin, never in bags left outside: they attract animals and end up scattered. Cardboard, folded flat, in its bin.

Furniture, junk and pruning leftovers have their own municipal door-to-door collection (the «Vilamarxant +sostenible» programme, run by the Town Council and Urbaser). How it works: you request it through the Línea Verde app or by calling 962 710 007, and you leave the items at your door the night before the collection day.

• Bulky items (furniture and junk): Tuesdays in the zone west of the CV-50 and Thursdays in the eastern zone. They can also be taken to the recycling centre.
• Pruning leftovers: Mondays in the zone west of the CV-50 and Wednesdays in the eastern zone.
• Prunings are left in bundles or bags: maximum 3 items per week, 90 cm long and branches no more than 15 cm thick.
